The 2nd wife of my grandfather wasa Conkling, the mother of his two youngest children. "He was uncle ofGov. William Sanford Pennington, who lived with him until he entered thearmy. According to Mrs. Sarah Halsey Rogers, Abigail Howell was thesecond wife.
