Mrs. Beryle Shummway, des thru Mitchel or Michael, states there was another
br.orther John orDJack who left thefamily. He may have gone to Kansas
Family records state that Mitchell Donahoodied Sept 7, 1898 bur in Elkhorn
Cem. This made his birth Nov 1839. Suspectthis is not the same Michael.
"Grandpa Donahoo had the reputation of being anenterprising youngman.
Grandman Donahoo judged him correctly for she told herfamily that before she
remarried, she could have chose any one of several young men who were
interested in marrying her after she became a widow.
Mitchelserved as president of the school board at the time the school house
was built.
