Know all men by those present that we Jacob Wilson and Benjamin York are held & firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky as the final and just sum of fifty pounds current money to be payment of which will & truly to be made and each of us do bind ourselves, our executors, & adms. jointly and separately firmly by these present. Sealed & dated on this 13th day of January 1825.

The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas a marriage is shortly intended to be solemnized between the above bound Jacob Wilson & Rebecca Howel. Now if there is not any legal cause to obstruct so marriage then the above obligation to be void also to remain in file.
